Pianovations is happy to offer to the public an educational 1-2 hour tour and informative workshop that we affectionately call our "Piano Mechanics Class". During your visit to our Rebuilding and Restoration shop where the class takes place, we will share some piano history, interesting facts, a dissection of a piano, how a piano works and an explanation of the various restoration projects in the shop.

Often there are grand and upright pianos completely disassembled which offers a unique opportunity to see and learn the mechanical structure of this complex instrument.

This is a community service on the part of Lianne Hoogenboom and Tamara Andre the owners and operators of Pianovations. We offer this service to help the public better understand and appreciate the complexities of the piano. All groups are welcome, we have shared this experience with Women's Institutes Groups, Music Teachers, Home School Groups, Families, School Classes, Piano Students and potential piano purchasers.

If you are interested in this opportunity please email or call to set a date, evenings or daytimes available. We look forward to meeting you, with the promise of an enjoyable and unique visit.
